About Us
The Shooting Store is an online catalog of firearms, ammunition, and shooting sports accessories. Since launching in 2014, The Shooting Store has been providing Americans an easy way to browse and place orders for products that are available for pickup at their local licensed dealers (FFL Dealers). All payments, legal paperwork, and verification occurs between the user and the local licensed dealer before the products are transfered to the user.
How It Works
Just create an account and browse our website for the products you are interested in. Select an FFL Dealer in your area to view their prices and add items to your cart. Once you place your online order request, we'll ship it to the FFL Dealer you chose and they'll contact you when your order is ready to be completed and picked up.
How You Pay
You will be required to provide a valid credit card along with your signature for verification purposes during the order request checkout process. You will pay the full balance of your order directly to the FFL Dealer you chose when you arrive to complete your order. If you do not complete your order with your FFL Dealer, we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee up to 25% of the order total.
Transfer Fees
All FFL Dealers in our network have agreed to not charge standard transfer fees on firearms ordered through our website. Some states and localaties do require fees to be collected. These fees are not considered standard transfer fees. If your FFL Dealer attempts to charge you for a standard transfer fee when you arrive at their store, please contact us and let us know before you complete the purchase.
Shipping Times
Shipping time can vary, but handguns will usually arrive 2-3 business days after your order is placed. Long guns and accessories typically arrive in about 4 business days. Your FFL Dealer will contact you when your order request is ready to be completed and picked up.
Your order status will update once your order has shipped.
Dealer Signup
If you're an FFL dealer in the United States and you have an industry-related, 'brick and mortar' retail storefront, pawn shop, or shooting range, send us an email and we'll provide you with all of the information you'll need to get listed. To qualify, your business must be open to the public with published business hours, have permanament signage and parking areas, and cannot be attached to your place of residence.
